  • Jojoba plants [Simmondsia chinensis (Link) Schneider] are appropriate to the semiarid regions; it has the ability to survive in a harsh desert environment and it is very drought-resistant and can be grown on marginal lands without replacing any existing crops. After that, Jojoba is a new oil-producing industrial crop, oil-producing cash crop, and has much of the interest in worldwide in recent years.
