Abstract: Schizophrenia (SCZ) is a severe mental disorder in which people interpret reality abnormally. Different studies indicated a complex polygenic control over SCZ. In the present study, we investigated the potential correlation between ten SNPs among MicroRNA (MIR) and their target genes; rs369770942, rs143525573, rs200982455, rs530404895, rs753764536, rs374732351, rs4680, rs165599, rs340597269, and rs10759, and schizophrenia in the Iranian population.
