dc.description.abstractThis study is an attempt to describe the effect of Hoabinh Hydropower Plant and Sonla Hydropower Plant (going-on construction) to salinity intrusion in Red River Delta and the changes of the flow characteristics of the lower Red River Delta in time and space at present and future condition. In order to archive the above requirements, the mathematical model of MIKE11 is used to evaluate the characteristics of the freshwater flow and salinity intrusion based on the recent observed data. The result will be estimated under the conditions of sea level rise due to the Greenhouse Effect.
