Abstract: | Functional analysis of ORFs of 3S metagenome for cytochrome P450 (CYP) proteins revealed that 3S CYPome comprises seventy-seven CYP families and eight standalone CYPs cutting across the three domains of life. The domain Bacteria had 72 CYP families, and Eukarya had five CYP families, while the domain Archaea has 1 CYP family. The detected CYPomes of the prokaryotic and eukaryotic communities in 3S metagenome and their taxonomic affiliation are depicted in Tables 1 and 2 (see Additional file 1: Table S1, Additional file 1: Table S2 for functions of the CYPs). |
