Abstract: | Haematological indices of laying hen The haematological profile of the laying birds fed with diets supplemented with S. aromaticum leaf meal (SLM) is presented in Table 2. The erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), packed cell volume (PCV), red blood cell (RBC), haemoglobin concentration (Hb), mean cell haemoglobin concentration (MCHC), mean cell volume (MCV) and mean cell haemoglobin (MCH) were not significantly (P > 0.05) affected by SLM when compared with the control. |
