Integrated Transport Planning for Sustainable Urban Development - Singapore' Approach and Lessons for Vietnam

Abstract

This paper explores strategic planning approaches Singapore applies for transport and land use integration, and the planning instruments Singapore deploys to integrate different transport modes physically and institutionally. It learns the way Singapore plans a city to make the city liable and sustainable, and proposes relevant points under the subject of integrated transport planning for Hanoi and HoChiMinh cities in Vietnam.
